AllRide & FreeStyle: the future of Neveplast surfaces debuts at Presolana Ski Arena 365
The inauguration of Presolana Ski Arena 365 marked the official debut of AllRide and FreeStyle, Neveplast’s new surfaces developed to bring the skiing and snowboarding experience even closer to natural snow.
The result of years of research, development and collaboration with athletes, coaches and industry professionals, AllRide has been designed to deliver an even more natural, precise and high-performance experience for alpine skiing and snowboarding. FreeStyle, on the other hand, is Neveplast’s first surface developed specifically for snowparks, featuring dedicated characteristics for kickers, rails and boxes to ensure a progressive and realistic training experience.
Presolana Ski Arena 365 is the first installation in the world to feature both innovations, becoming a true technology showcase where athletes, ski clubs and winter sports enthusiasts can experience the latest achievements in Neveplast technology.
“For us, this project represents much more than just a ski slope: it is a technological showcase that brings together more than twenty-five years of research and development. It is here that two completely new products make their debut: AllRide, our new surface for alpine skiing, and FreeStyle, developed specifically for snowboarding and freestyle. In our view, they represent the most advanced stage ever achieved by Neveplast technology.”
Niccolò Bertocchi, CEO of Neveplast
Flavio Roda, President of the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI), also highlighted the technological value of the project and its potential to support the growth of winter sports:
“The quality of this slope is the result of highly advanced technological research, and today we are very close to reproducing the technical movements performed on natural snow. This can become an important tool for keeping the world of skiing alive, because skiing, snowboarding and winter sports continue to be disciplines appreciated both by those who practise them and by those who follow them.”
Lara Magoni, Member of the European Parliament and former alpine ski racer, emphasized the project’s importance in promoting winter sports:
“Skiing on a synthetic slope means being able to practise our sport in every season, regardless of snow, weather conditions or the time of year. It represents a great opportunity for children, young people, ski clubs and everyone who wants to discover winter sports.”
For Federico Tomasoni, Neveplast ambassador and Italian Ski Cross athlete, the new facility also represents a valuable year-round training opportunity:
“I believe this facility represents an extraordinary opportunity for young athletes in ski clubs and for everyone who wants to get closer to skiing and snowboarding. Professional athletes can also benefit greatly from a facility like this, allowing us to train consistently throughout the year.”
With AllRide and FreeStyle, Neveplast takes another step forward in the evolution of synthetic surfaces for winter sports, reaffirming its commitment to developing increasingly high-performance, realistic solutions designed for year-round use.
