Neveplast Tubing: new outdoor experiences in the heart of Europe

Neveplast Tubing: new outdoor experiences in the heart of Europe

Fun, speed and adrenaline in every season. In recent months, Neveplast has brought its expertise in tubing to several major European tourist destinations, completing installations in Hochfügen, Austria; ErlebnisBocksBerg, Germany; and Candanchú, in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Three projects with different characteristics, configurations and landscapes, all sharing the same goal: to expand each destination’s offering and create attractions capable of engaging families, children and visitors of all ages, even when there is no snow.

Hochfügen, Austria: turns, whoops and fun in the heart of the Zillertal

One of Neveplast’s most recent installations was completed in Hochfügen, a renowned Austrian ski resort located in the Zillertal valley in Tyrol.

Hochfügen lies at an altitude of approximately 1,500 metres and, together with the Hochzillertal ski area, offers 93 kilometres of slopes and 37 ski lifts. Its high-altitude location, Alpine landscape and accommodation facilities situated directly within the ski area make it a particularly popular destination among mountain enthusiasts.

The new Neveplast track, installed in June, was created using Tubby Evo and features a particularly varied layout. The ride begins with a 65-centimetre-high mini ramp, followed by straight sections, whoops and three wide banked turns positioned along the course.

The track configuration was designed directly on site, adapting the project to the natural morphology of the area and paying particular attention to speed management and the different stages of the descent. The numerous tests carried out after installation confirmed that the track offers a smooth and exciting ride.

This new attraction enriches Hochfügen’s offering and allows visitors to enjoy the mountain in an engaging way beyond the traditional ski season.

ErlebnisBocksBerg, Germany: a new attraction for a aountain to be enjoyed all year round

In Germany, Neveplast has created a new Tubby Evo track at ErlebnisBocksBerg in Hahnenklee, in the heart of the Harz region and approximately 16 kilometres from the historic town of Goslar.

The project was developed in collaboration with Sunkid, which supplied the conveyor belt used to transport visitors back to the top, helping to create a complete, functional attraction that is easy for guests to enjoy.

ErlebnisBocksBerg is a destination dedicated to outdoor activities and entertainment for the whole family. During the summer, it offers a wide range of attractions, while in winter the mountain becomes a destination for skiing and sledding.

The new Neveplast tubing track fits perfectly into this multisport offering. The course begins from a raised wooden platform approximately two metres high, allowing riders to gain speed from the very first metres.

The track continues with long straight sections and a sequence of banked turns to the right and left, creating a lively descent featuring frequent changes of direction. The original design was modified during installation to adapt to the natural gradients and counter-slopes of the terrain, once again demonstrating the flexibility of the Neveplast system.

Candanchú, Spain: tubing arrives in the Aragonese Pyrenees

Neveplast has also reached Candanchú, one of the best-known and most iconic destinations in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Located in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, close to the Somport Pass and the French border, Candanchú lies approximately 28 kilometres from the town of Jaca. Founded in 1928, it is considered the oldest ski resort in Spain and played a pioneering role in the development of skiing and ski instruction in the country.

Two Neveplast tubing tracks have been created in this extraordinary natural setting.

The first is a 60-metre straight track, designed to offer a simple, immediate and accessible ride for a wide range of visitors. The second provides a more dynamic experience, featuring banked turns and two ramps that make the course even more exciting and adrenaline-filled.

The new tracks expand the entertainment opportunities offered by the resort and contribute to its evolution towards a year-round destination capable of attracting visitors in every season.

A versatile attraction for tourist destinations

The installations in Hochfügen, ErlebnisBocksBerg and Candanchú showcase three different ways of interpreting Neveplast tubing.

Each project begins with an analysis of the available space, gradient and target audience. Thanks to the modularity of the system, the course can follow a straight layout or be enhanced with banked turns, jumps, whoops and changes of direction, creating experiences suitable both for families and for visitors looking for a more dynamic ride.

Tubing therefore becomes a strategic tool for expanding a destination’s offering, increasing the appeal of mountain areas and transforming spaces traditionally associated with the winter season into places for sport and entertainment that can be enjoyed for many months of the year.

With Neveplast, the fun on the snow continues even when there is no snow.
