Romania's longest "year round" slope brought to you by Neveplast

It is with great pleasure that we share one of our latest projects in Romania: the ski and tubing slope within Aprilia Park, located in Gorj County. For Aprilia Park, this is a real record: the Neveplast "year-round" ski slope is indeed the longest in the country. This ambitious project became a reality thanks to the dedication and trust of numerous people involved.

The Aprilia Park team stated excitedly: "After a long journey of efforts and hopes, thousands of cubic meters of soil moved, countless hours of work, the collaboration of hundreds of technicians and collaborators, the commitment of dozens of machines, all completed in a timeframe of just twelve months, Aprilia Park has finally inaugurated the Neveplast ski slope, accessible throughout the year."

Here are some details that make this slope a must-visit for winter sports enthusiasts:

  • Length: The ski slope will have a length of 311 meters, offering skiers and snowboarders an extraordinary experience.
  • World-Class Tubing: Three tubing tracks run along the ski slope: two straight tracks of 166 meters and one track with two parabolic turns of 176 meters. The Tubby tunnel makes the tubing park even more special for both adults and children.
  • Quality Materials: The slope is constructed using the renowned Neveplast material, ensuring a skiing experience very close to that on natural snow.
  • Extensive Area: The entire area covered by the slope extends over 7,000 square meters, offering ample space to fully enjoy the “snow” experience.

Aprilia Park, known for its water park in operation since 2011, offers a variety of activities besides skiing, including basketball, beach volleyball, ping pong, and much more. With 4,000 square meters of beach and three large warm water pools, it is an ideal place for relaxation and fun.

In a country with almost 100 traditional ski resorts, the Neveplast ski slope at Aprilia Park stands out as a true gem, making snow fun accessible and enjoyable for both residents and tourists.

Stay tuned, we will provide more updates soon.
