Neveplast and FIS together

Neveplast and FIS team up for the SnowKidz Shred Parks project. Neveplast and FIS have signed a partnership for the "SnowKidz Shred Parks" project, an innovative tool for SNOWKIDZ organizers to promote children's introduction to snow and winter sports.

The project is itinerant and will involve multiple SNOWKIDZ events worldwide. Each Shred Park, thanks to Neveplast's characteristics, will be easily transportable from one location to another and functional both in winter and summer.

Based on the emerging trends that have profoundly changed the future scenario of the mountain tourism segment, ski resorts are increasingly seeking solutions that ensure year-round offerings.

An effective tool for extending the ski seasons beyond the winter period is synthetic ski slopes, which have become increasingly popular in recent years.

To realize the "SnowKidz Shred Park" project, FIS chose Neveplast as the world's leading producer of artificial snow surfaces.

Neveplast Italia was founded in 1998 thanks to the great enthusiasm for alpine skiing of its founders: Aldo, Edoardo, and Niccolò Bertocchi. Using patented technology, Neveplast's mission is to create ski slopes made of synthetic materials that guarantee the sensation of skiing and snowboarding on compact snow. To date, more than 2,100 installations have been completed worldwide.

FIS Bring Children to the Snow coordinator, Andrew Cholinski, commented: “We have wanted to bring the SnowKidz Shred Parks to life for some time. The partnership with Neveplast will now make this happen, and we are honored to work with them.”

Niccolò Bertocchi, CEO of Neveplast, added: “Our mission and dream have always been to make skiing and winter sports accessible to everyone, regardless of season, location, or weather conditions. We achieve this by creating ski slopes in urban areas. Neveplast has always believed in and promoted the concept of Urban Skiing as a great tool to create new winter sports enthusiasts. We are very proud that FIS has chosen us as a partner for the "SnowKidz" project. Children who put on skis on Neveplast for the first time can't wait to ski on real snow!”
