Families celebrating under the three peaks: new Neveplast Tubing and Sklide at Monte Baranci in South Tyrol

New Neveplast Tubing and Sklide at Monte Baranci in South Tyrol, under the Three Peaks, the ultimate family-friendly mountain. Among the many fun projects we completed in summer 2023, we are particularly proud of the TUBING and SKLIDE project in the 3 Zinnen area at Monte Baranci in South Tyrol. We are proud because we have made an already attractive area even more appealing—a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its beautiful landscape and family-friendly activities. But that's not all. Our connection with Monte Baranci park dates back to the early 2000s when we built one of our first tubing tracks here.

This year, the 3 Zinnen company approached us with another ambitious challenge: to revamp and refurbish the park at Monte Baranci with attractions that reflect the new identity of the resort and meet visitors' expectations. The result is a brand new, state-of-the-art 72-meter TUBING track with two parabolic curves and the latest updates, along with the addition of SKLIDE featuring three parallel tracks for head-to-head challenges among young pilots on colorful SKLIDE bobs. Both attractions are served by a convenient Sunkid conveyor belt for easy ascents.

"In our 25 years of activity, I have had the opportunity to travel and visit many mountain locations, and I must say that the Monte Baranci landscape is one of the most spectacular in the world, also recognized by UNESCO. However, breathtaking natural scenery alone is no longer enough to promote mountain tourism; especially in the summer season, vision combined with a wide range of services and entertainment for a broad target audience is essential.

The managers of the 3 Zinnen area have been excellent in transforming their mountain into a family paradise, even before the term 'de-seasonalization' became common. We are very proud to have contributed with our TUBING and SKLIDE tracks to further entertain the children and families visiting Monte Baranci park. We installed one of our first tubing tracks here back in 2003, and I admit there was some nostalgia in building another fun project together 20 years later!"

The Monte Baranci area, which overlooks and protects the enchanting village of San Candido in Alta Val Pusteria, is a true mountain paradise offering play and relaxation opportunities for both children and adults at every turn. You can reach it by an easy walking trail or by taking a chairlift that quickly takes you to an elevation of 1,493 meters. Once at the top, Monte Baranci opens up an enchanted world for children; and this summer, next to the gnome village, the marble track, the bouncing area, and the Giant's big feet filled with water, families can enjoy breathtaking and safe descents on Neveplast's TUBING and SKLIDE tracks.
