At Alleghe, the brand-new Tubby slope served by a chairlift

The Ski Area Civetta has hosted a brand-new Tubby slope, served by a quad chairlift, since summer 2021.

At Piani di Pezzè in Alleghe, within the Ski Area Civetta in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, there has been a new Neveplast Tubby slope since summer 2021, served by a modern quad chairlift. The tubing track is 160 meters long, with two parabolic curves, and stands out for the spectacular natural setting in which it is located.

Behind the project is Franco Zanolli, winter director of the Coldai Ski School and summer manager of Ally Farm, a play area immersed in nature with sensory trails and areas for educational activities, play, and relaxation for the whole family.

“I have known Neveplast and its products for a long time and always had the dream of creating a fun summer activity similar to what we do in winter on snow. As soon as the right opportunity arose, I invested in Neveplast Tubby to expand the summer offerings at Ally Farm, which we have managed for five years here at Piani di Pezzè.

I owe a lot to Alleghe Funivie, which ensured the summer operation of the chairlift, allowing tourists to quickly return to the top for another thrilling descent on the Tubby track. A chairlift ride like ours adds significant value to our tubing offering.

The track is loved by the entire family: children, parents, and even grandparents. Some come specifically from Canazei, Cortina, and other nearby locations just to experience our tubing, and many return two or three times during their stay.

It was a bold gamble, especially since we didn’t have a winter season due to the pandemic, so I couldn’t rely on the income from my ski school. But it was worth it.”

The Neveplast Tubby track is set in a unique scenic environment, one of the most beautiful in the Dolomites. Overseeing the thrilling descents on the inflatable tubes is the majestic Monte Civetta, standing at 3220 meters, one of the most prestigious peaks in the Dolomites and a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.

Easily accessible year-round by car or via the ski lifts from Alleghe, Ally Farm at Piani di Pezzè, which hosts the Neveplast Tubby track, is a wonderful oasis of play and relaxation from which families can explore one of the most beautiful areas of the Dolomites.

The missing piece for Ally Farm to be irresistible was indeed a tubing track with thrilling descents served by the Baby chairlift, which serves as the intermediate ski school area in the Ski Area Civetta during winter.

Ally Farm's 4000 sqm park alternates educational areas with play and relaxation zones, featuring sensory and experiential trails for the whole family.

From the barefoot walking area, which benefits both mind and body, to the charming small lake near the Grande Baita Civetta, with a maximum depth of 50 cm where both adults and children can experience barefooting in the water and continue on the sensory trail.

This experience aims to find a balance point, both physical and psychological, thanks to the slacklines, boulder areas, and sensory trail.
